![]() ![]() Mr. Wilner Blanchard left Haiti after having worked for the Haitian government as a tax collector. In 1983, after several visits to the USA, Wilner settled in New York in search of a better life. In 1990, he attended Baruch college (C.U.N.Y) and earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, thereafter he secured a position with the New York City Board of Education as a Spanish teacher in 1995. In 1998, Wilner moved to Philadelphia with his family and attended Temple University where he earned a Master's degree in education (M.Ed.) in 2001. In 2004, he attended Alvernia College where he earned another Master's degree in Behavioral Health in 2007. Wilner has worked as a Spanish teacher for the School District of Philadelphia, several Charter schools and mental health agencies as a Therapist giving psycho educational counseling to children and their families. Mr. Wilner Blanchard is the host of the popular radio program "Marchons Ensemble" which airs on Tuesday nights at 9pm to 11pm and "Melodie du Matin" on Saturdays at 8am to 10am on Radio Vision Celeste. He will further his studies and pursue his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychological in the Spring of 2008. Mr. Blanchard believes that education is the key and a method by which a society gets from one generation to the next. Furthermore, he believes in unity and wants to work and help improve the Haitian community in the Diaspora. Philippians 4: 13. Mr. Wilner Blanchard is married to Micheline Gabriel Blanchard and they have two children, Wileen Tessy Blanchard and Wilkens Mitch Blanchard.
